SYMARK ANNOUNCES RECORD REVENUE AND PROFIT

Continues to grow, despite economy

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – Feb. 11, 2003 – Symark today announced that despite the economic downturn, the company had another record year, ending December 31, 2002, with 15% growth year on year.
“Despite the economic slow down, Symark continues to show both top and bottom line growth. Our positive results reflect the growing demand by Global 2000 companies looking to strengthen security for UNIX informational assets,” said Bob Sommers, Chairman and Co-CEO at Symark. “We also attribute our success to the drive of the entire Symark team and our strong relationships with customers such as Hughes.” According to Mark Eisenhardt, Senior UNIX Systems Administrator at Hughes, Symark’s security solution “has greatly enhanced the security capabilities of UNIX systems.” In addition, Hughes support calls to systems administrators have dropped 90 percent.
2002 was a watershed year for Symark with significant accomplishments including international expansion into Asia-Pacific and EMEA. The company also introduced PowerBroker® and PowerPassword® product upgrades.
