AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – August 16, 2004 – Symark today announced PowerBroker 3.5, with a new policy scripting GUI to speed the development of UNIX and Linux security policies. PowerBroker provides granular delegation of ROOT and other administrative privileges for trusted users without providing full access, thus reducing the risk of accidental damage or malicious activity. PowerBroker also manages privileges and access to third-party applications such as Oracle and SAP.
